The speaker will focus on how CENELEC functions and operates as one of the three European Standardisation Organizations, its relations with the European Commission for the development of European standards in support of European legislation, how standards are developed in CEN and CENELEC, and its relations with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
CENELEC will also briefly address its global outreach and its cooperation with national and regional partners outside Europe.
